World Candidates Matches, May 26th - June 14th, Elista, Kalmykia
The World Candidates Matches
took place May 26th - June 14th, 2007
in Elista, Kalmykia. Each match consisted of six games, and, if necessary,
tie-break rapid games. In the 2nd round the winners of the 1st round play each other
to determine four players who will play in the Mexico City tournament together with
Vladimir Kramnik, Viswanathan Anand, Peter Svidler and Alexander Morozevich.
These four players are:
Aronian, Gelfand, Grischuk, Leko

May 27, 28, 29, 31, June 1, 2, 3(tie-breaks),
Round 2
June 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13(tie-breaks)
Rest days: 30 May and 9 June
