Vladimir Kramnik's press-conference, October 16th in Moscow
A press-conference with the World Champion Vladimir Kramnik took place October 16th in Moscow in the Central Chess Player's House. The President of Russian Chess Federation, vice-prime minister of Russia Alexander Zhukov has taken part in it. Vladimir Kramnik has expressed an opinion that the system of World chess crown draw in a match between the World Champion and a pretender to the title has a 120-years history, and successfully has recommended itself for this time. Alexander Zhukov has supported World Champion declaring that the refusal of carrying out of a final match is pernicious for chess.
